3 Things To Do Before You Leave Your Seasonal Rental
Seasonal renting is a great way to bring in some extra income in the winter months. But how do you make it ready for guests? Metro’s Other Woman has prepared three ways to make sure your home is ready for seasonal renting!
Check kitchen items - Supply your kitchen with brand new cutlery, utensils, and pots and pans or put the good stuff away. Seasonal guests won’t treat your items with as much care, so it’s important to plan ahead when it comes to the kitchen.
Change any batteries - This includes your smoke detector, remote, and door lock. Imagine your guest having to wake up in the middle of the night because the smoke alarm was announcing it was out of batteries?! A faux pas that is easily avoided.
Do a deep clean- Even if you haven’t visited over the summer months, there will still be dust, spiders, and other nasty surprises. Do a deep clean to kick the season off. Your guests will thank you!
Are you on your way to your holiday home? We’ll get there ahead of you and make sure it’s ready to greet you with open arms!
