Summer Pantry Organization
It's officially our favorite time of the year, SUMMER! Today we're sharing tips to help you & the kids keep the pantry neat, organized and stocked with lots of snacks!
WHAT TO PURCHASE
You spend a lot of time organizing and making your pantry perfect... Labels are a simple solution to make sure everything gets put away properly. We love these labels from The Home Edit at The Container Store! If you prefer to do them yourself, a white chalk marker works perfectly!
WHAT TO DO
It's important to start this project with a blank slate. Remove everything from your pantry and purge old or unused items as you go.
Put all of your items into these categories:
Decide which items are best for your airtight containers and place them in there. Organize the rest of your categories in their own baskets.
When placing your containers and baskets back in your pantry, think about what shelf they make the most sense on. For example: snacks & drinks should go lower so the kids can easily grab on their own & breakable items should be kept higher to prevent accidents.
Finish your project by labeling all your baskets & containers! Remind your kids to follow those labels when they are rummaging for snacks or helping put the groceries away.
If the project is too big for you to handle, metro's other woman® is always here to tackle it for you. Book an organization project with us before July 1, 2020 and receive 1 free hour!
