Clutter Free Kitchen!
Messy kitchen?! Nobody wants that! Today we're sharing 5 tips for you to keep your kitchen clean, tidy & clutter free!
1. WHEN YOU GET SOMETHING NEW, THROW OUT THE OLD
This applies to many things throughout your kitchen, from appliances to food. It's a simple concept, there's no need to keep two crock pots or an old bag of flour and a brand new one. If your old items are still usable, donate them!
2. DISPLAY BEAUTIFUL & FUNCTIONAL ITEMS
This tip will keep your counters looking clutter free. Put anything that is not both beautiful & functional away in your cabinets. If you don't use a toaster everyday, there's no sense in keeping it out and taking up valuable space on your counter top.
3. GOT SPICES?
Your spices should be refreshed once a year. All those random spices you bought and used one time for a specific recipe... Toss them! It's taking up valuable space. We should also mention that your spices loose taste over time. If you have an empty drawer, we love getting shallow glass jars to store your spices.
4. BE SMART WHEN ORGANIZING YOUR APPLIANCES & UTENSILS
When you're finding homes for all your appliances or utensils, think of where they would be best placed. Glasses should be near the fridge, cooking utensils near the stove, etc. This will only make your life easier!
5. KEEP IT CLEAN
A golden rule in our kitchen, NEVER LEAVE DISHES IN THE SINK OVERNIGHT. It creates more work for the morning and allows always requires more scrubbing.
