Strawberries & Cream Overnight Oats
December is in full swing!
And with the holidays upon us, it's tough to stay on top of your healthy diet!
Cookies, hot chocolate, candy canes... Oh my! It's a struggle to stay on top of your healthy lifestyle when there's all these goodies left and right! We have one suggestion... Meal prep, meal prep, meal prep! This week Sarah, our founder talked meal prep with our friends over at B+ynd. Sarah gave a few tips as well as one of her current fave go-to's... Trust us, you'll want to save this recipe for later!
Overnight oats are a make-ahead breakfast that is simply ready to go in the morning!
Easy as that!
Here's how to prep your overnight oats
Get started by grabbing these ingredients:
1/2 Cup of Oats
1/2 Cup of Almond Milk (or other preferred milk)
2 Tbsp Strawberry Jam
1/4 cup Vanilla Yogurt
3-4 Fresh Strawberries
Step 1: Pour the 1/2 cup of oats into a mason jar.
Step 2: Add 1/2 cup of the milk of your choice to jar.
Step 3: Add 1/4 cup of vanilla yogurt.
Step 4: Add 2 tbsp of strawberry jelly to the mix.
Step 5: Slice up those strawberries & top off your oat mix.
Lastly, put a lid on your jar & refrigerate overnight.
When you wake up in the morning, this magical goodness will be waiting in the fridge for you! You can eat cold or heated, however you prefer (we like them best cold). The best thing is, you can make up to four days worth at one time! We weren't kidding when we said "breakfast made easy!"
